You know what, I always thought mixing music together would be so much fun. But I've always sucked butt at it. I think it's sort of a talent and requires some patience to learn how to do that kind of stuff. I think I'll check out your Myspace page ^^.

No I don't think I'd be close enough to though I would like to. I do like Good Enough, it's a very pretty song and it shows she can write things like that as well. I'm just happy that she's finally got someone that isn't gonna hurt her anymore than she already has been. The irony of it is it's the same guy that she wrote "Bring Me To Life" about.

I was always wondering what she was saying in that part, if it was backwards or just her vocalizing. I'm good with mixing songs together like Evanescence with Linkin Park, Evanescence with Lacuna Coil. I also have one with Lacuna Coil and Nightwish. I first saw Flyleaf on myspace and then I saw them early last year at Family Values tour. For some reason though I only like "I'm So Sick" and "Fully Alive" :/ I can't connect well with the others. I made a video with the movie Underworld to "I'm So Sick". It's on my myspace page.

And I didn't really like Good Enough. I thought it was cheesy x3 and totally NOT like Amy Lee.
I think it's really sad that she lost one of her sisters to an unknown illness ; w ; that'd'd be so terrible.
And I loooooooooove Karmacode. It's one of their best CD's. Our Truth is really awesome, as well as Enjoy The Silence. It's the best cover of that song in the world 8D I think I have a knack for reversing songs that have reversed lyrics, and listening to what it says. Like in 'Self Deception' at the beginning of the song, she's saying '...Dont know what to do, you're not the reason...' as well as in The Poet and the Pendulum, at the beginning Annette says 'Being raped, again and again '

Lol how weird I'm going to Arkansas at the end of April. I live in Florida so I'm lucky if they play Evanescence at all. One of my rock stations is all about Flyleaf and the other one only plays Bring Me To Life. I've never heard Everybody's Fool, Lithium, Sweet Sacrifice on there. One of the contemporary stations plays My Immortal sometimes (the album version without the band) but I haven't heard Good Enough, though I heard it on a store radio when I worked at the store before it was released as a single Oo. I got my three Nightwish CD's at a Borders (thank god for them) but I don't remember seeing Within Temptation there and I got my three Lacuna Coil CD's from FYE (Karmacode was from a friend)

Yeaaah Dark Passion Play was really good. Except...Amaranth sounded far too much like 'Barbie Girl' by Aqua.
I really liked 'The Poet & the pendulum' it was great and creepy

and I live in Arkansas, in the US. It's right below Missouri, and I think above Texas. So I'm smack dab in the middle 8D I had DirectTV then, and so I listened to the music stations on there. I think it was either 'Alternative' or 'Hard Rock' that I heard them.
And yeaaaah omg I hate rap. I can't see how people can just listen to like, TWO genres of music and totally not broaden their horizons if you know what I mean. I know this one girl who only listens to hip hop and rap. I'm like 'gee, big diff'
I mostly listen to a hard rock/heavy metal radio station. It's played 'What have you done now?' before, and when it did I was like OMGGGGLKDSFJ;A;SDLAKJFSA'
But yeah, nothing cool is sold here, so I either get the CD's off the internet or order them.
The radio is really terrible. It brainwashes you. @w@

Yea the first time I heard Evanescence was on the radio with "Bring Me To Life" then I came across "My Immortal" on an anime site, it was the background music. So I had my friend burn me the CD and I fell in love with it. Then I found BringMeToLife.com when browsing through the net and discovered their older music. Their styles (WT, NW, LC and Ev) are so unique from each other but share a few similarties and that's what i love about them. I will never get tired of their music. I do love Within Temptation's last two CD's I thought it was good and Nightwish's Dark Passion Play was good too. I love their new singer, Annette, but I will always love Tarja's voice with their past songs as well.


Where is your location if you heard Nightwish on the TV? I've never seen or heard of them being on TV in the US. And the whole thing about sex and drugs....that's why I don't listen to the radio anymore because it's all about rap and it's not really that great. When I do listen to the radio it's stations that play today's and yesterday's rock, eighties and seventies, country and contemporary. And it's usually music that's at least a decade or more older.

Well that's what a like a lot about the bands, too. They're not too modern or genuine, really. The fantasy POV they sometimes use is really needed, especially in the US where no one wants to sing about anything else but sex and drugs.
WT sort of lost that, but I still think think their music is overall fine. Just not as unique and inspiring as their earlier releases like 'Ice Queen' and 'Running Up That Hill'
Hmmmm. I found out about Evanescence on the radio. Lacuna coil on a music TV station. Within Temptation by an mp3 rotation, and Nightwish....by the TV station, too. I'm really starting to get into Epica, also. Her voice is uberly amazing *o*

Yea Lacuna Coil didn't hit into the US until their Comalies album. Then 'Our Truth' appeared on the Underworld: Evolution soundtrack. I think Within Temptation is in their own class really. Sharon has such a beautiful voice and it blends well with the rock. Nightwish has the same thing but their songs are more of the fantasy type whereas WT has moved from that. At least they did with their album 'The Heart Of Everything'. I first heard of these three bands from BringMeToLife.com, the official French Fansite of Evanescence. It's a got a good group of people in the forum, both French and English. Evthreads.com is also a good one, the band is on it when they have the time. I've left Evboard because it is just waaaaaaaaay too crowded.

Yeah, I know what you mean! And I'm certain about that, too. People who like Evanescence would sometime *eventually* come across Lacuna Coil, since they're pretty similiar. (in a not-so-obvious way xD). Probably as well as Within Temptation, which I believe are more like Evanescence than Lacuna is. Probably the more 'rockish' thing that WT recently has going on.
But yeah I requested the Comalies CD at Wal-mart and then the next week it was on top of all the CD racks under 'rising artists' and I was like

Oh thanks^^ I'm kinda glad that not many people know who they are. It would kinda ruin it for me because people will try to make them seem like a commercial band and they're not. I like having some bands I like that not many people know about. I don't think they did as well in America but they're such an awesome band. I figured those who like Evanescence would like them, their styles are close but not the same.
